Best for

3
  • Traders who want a funded account without passing an evaluation first
  • Traders who want to keep the lot, at a split up to 100%
  • You start for $10 and pay the rest of the fee only after you pass.

Watch out for

4
  • News trading restricted: profit from trades within 5 minutes of red-folder news is deducted on several programmes
  • EA use restricted: only on the EA Challenge and One Step Pro, and not once an EA Challenge account is funded
  • Equity 1% below starting balance halves your split
  • No trade or pending order for 30 days is a breach

Rule Check answers

What Rule Check reads when it calls this firm compatible or a conflict. Open one to read the rule in the firm’s own words.

Can you trade the news?Restricted

Allowed at all times on the 2 Step Challenge, Instant Funding Static, Instant Funding Trailing, Instant Funding Intro, the Free Challenge and the EA Challenge. On the 1 Step (New) Challenge, Instant Funding Zero, Pro Zero, One Step Pro and Instant Funding (Futures Style), profit from any trade opened or closed within 5 minutes before or after red-folder news is deducted at payout.

“Not allowed: If trade is open or closed 5 minutes before or after any Red news event the profit will be soft breached/deducted from the account at payout.”
Can you run an EA or a bot?Restricted

Allowed only during the challenge phase of the EA Challenge and on One Step Pro (Futures Style). Not allowed on the 1 Step, 2 Step, Instant Funding or Pro Zero accounts, or once an EA Challenge account is funded. Under the Zero Tolerance policy, continuing to use an EA after a warning becomes a hard breach.

“The EA Challenge is designed for traders who want to use Expert Advisors (EAs), including high-frequency trading robots, during the challenge phase only.”
Can you copy trades?Restricted

Copying your own trades is allowed, including onto your SLF funded account. Copying other people, paid signal groups or another trader's entries in the same timeframe is not, and detection can mean a hard breach, payout denial and a permanent blacklist.

“Copy trading is only allowed if you are copying your own trades.”
Can you trade from a VPS?No
“No. VPS and VPN usage is not permitted.”
Can you trade through a VPN?No
“No. VPS and VPN usage is not permitted.”
Is there a consistency rule?Yes

2 Step, Instant Funding Static, EA Challenge and Free Challenge: no day may be 25% or more of profit in the payout period, checked before payouts. 1 Step (New): 50%, applied both to passing and to payouts. 2 Step Drop Out Plan: 50%, funded only. Instant Funding Trailing and Intro: 20%. Instant Funding Zero and Pro Zero have none.

“No single trading day may equal or exceed 25% of your total profit for that payout period.”
How often you can be paidBi-weekly

Every two weeks on 1 Step (New), EA Challenge, Instant Funding Static, Instant Funding Zero and Pro Zero. On the 2 Step Challenge you can request a payout as soon as requirements are met. Futures-style accounts pay every 3 days (One Step Pro) or every 5 days (Instant Funding Futures Style).

“Payouts operate on a bi-weekly schedule.”

6 hidden rules you should know before you buy

Terms that can cost you an account or a payout after you have already paid. Hidden means easy to miss, not concealed. The firm publishes every one of these, usually in its terms or FAQ rather than on its pricing page. Tap a rule to read it, with the page we read it on and the date.

Payout restrictions2

  1. 01Half your trades flagged means the payout is declinedBlocks the payout

Profit from each trade that breaks a funded rule is removed at payout and 20 soft breaches close the account. If half or more of your trades are flagged the payout is declined and a second declined payout closes the account.

    Why it matters
Break it and the payout is refused or pushed back.
    Who it affects
Anyone requesting a payout, on funded accounts
    Source
    help.sureleveragefunding.com
  2. 02Every payout resets the account to starting balanceJudgement call

After each approved payout the account goes back to its starting balance. You start every cycle with no profit cushion above your drawdown limits.

    Why it matters
There is no fixed line. Someone at the firm decides whether you broke it.

Drawdown1

  1. 03Equity 1% below starting balance halves your splitCloses the account

On Instant Funding Static, Instant Funding Zero, Instant Funding Trailing and EA Challenge accounts equity falling more than 1% below the starting balance counts as a breach. The first breach halves your profit split and the second closes the account unless you bought the removal add-on.

    Why it matters
Break it once and the account is closed, whatever the balance.
    Who it affects
Every account on the programme, on challenge and funded accounts
    Source
    help.sureleveragefunding.com

Prohibited strategies1

  1. 04Trades held under two minutes lose their profitVoids profit

Any trade closed within two minutes counts as tick scalping. Its profit is deducted when you request a payout and it counts toward the soft breach limit.

    Why it matters
Break it and the profit from those trades is taken off before you are paid.
    Who it affects
Hedging, martingale, arbitrage and HFT, on funded accounts
    Source
    help.sureleveragefunding.com

Re-entry1

  1. 05Same direction trades on one pair count as one trade ideaBlocks the payout

On the EA Challenge several trades in the same direction on the same pair within a short time are grouped as one trade idea. The grouped result is what the profit and lot consistency checks use.

    Why it matters
Break it and the payout is refused or pushed back.
    Who it affects
Traders who go back into a losing idea, on challenge and funded accounts
    Source
    help.sureleveragefunding.com

Inactivity1

  1. 06No trade or pending order for 30 days is a breachCloses the account

You must place at least one trade or pending order every 30 days. If you do not the account is breached and SLF terminates accounts for any rule violation.

    Why it matters
Break it once and the account is closed, whatever the balance.
    Who it affects
Accounts left untraded, on challenge and funded accounts
    Source
