What this site is
PropFirmRefer is an independent comparison site for proprietary trading firms. We collect published information about those firms — prices, payout times, trading rules, country restrictions — check it against the firm’s own pages, record the date we checked, and present it so it can be compared.
We are not a prop firm, a broker, a bank, or a financial adviser. We do not hold client money, execute trades, or offer funded accounts. Nothing on this site is financial advice, a recommendation to trade, or a suggestion that any particular firm is suitable for you.
What our data means, and what it does not
Every figure we publish is either verified against a source we link to, or left blank. A blank is not zero and not an estimate — it means we have not confirmed it. We never fill a gap with a guess.
Even so, the information here can be wrong or out of date. Prop firms change their rules frequently, often without announcing it, and sometimes retroactively. A rule we read last week may not be the rule you agree to today. Before you pay a firm anything, read that firm’s own terms yourself. Where we quote a firm, we link to the page we read it on so you can check us rather than trust us.
Our Refer Score is our own opinion, expressed as a number. It is calculated from the signals described on how we rank, and firms cannot pay to change it. It is a starting point for your own research, not a verdict.
Rule Check
Rule Check compares how you say you trade against the rules we have verified for each firm. It only reports rules we hold: where we have not confirmed a rule, it says so rather than implying the firm has none. A “fits how you trade” result means nothing we have verified conflicts with what you told us. It is not a guarantee that you will not be breached, and it is not a substitute for reading the firm’s rulebook.
How we make money
Some links to firms are affiliate links, and some discount codes earn us a commission if you buy through them. This costs you nothing extra, and in most cases the code saves you money. It does not affect a firm’s score or its position in our rankings — the ranking is computed from the same signals for every firm, whether or not we earn from them. Where a placement is paid, it is labelled as an advertisement.
Accounts and points
You may create a free account to collect points for contributions such as payout reports and rule-change tips. Points have no cash value, cannot be sold or transferred, and can be removed if a submission turns out to be false or duplicated. Contributions are reviewed by a person before they pay out. We may change or end the points programme, and we will give notice before doing so where we reasonably can.
Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us if you think someone else has access to it.
Using the site fairly
Please do not:
- scrape or bulk-extract our data to rebuild it elsewhere;
- submit reports you know to be untrue, or create accounts to farm points;
- attempt to break, overload, or gain unauthorised access to the site.
You are welcome to quote individual facts from this site with attribution and a link. That is how a comparison site should work.
Risk
Trading carries risk. Evaluation fees are usually non-refundable, most people who buy a challenge do not reach a payout, and a funded account can be lost to a single rule breach. See our risk disclaimer for more.
Liability
We provide this site as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses arising from decisions you make using it — including money paid to a prop firm, an account lost to a rule breach, or a firm that fails to pay you. Nothing here limits liability for anything that cannot lawfully be limited.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top always reflects the current version, and material changes will be flagged on the site.
