About PropFirmRefer

Prop firms compete on the numbers they put on a pricing page. Traders lose accounts on the rules they do not. This site is an attempt to publish the second set as carefully as the industry publishes the first.

What we actually do

We read firms’ own pages — pricing, help centres, terms — and record what we find, with a link to the page and the date we read it. When a firm says one thing in a blog post and another in its help centre, we follow the help centre and say so.

The part nobody else publishes is the hidden rules: the terms that can close an account or block a payout after you have paid. A consistency rule that holds your money until you trade more. A minimum trading day that only counts if you made a profit. An automated system that halves your profit split, permanently, and cannot be reversed. Every one of those is real, quoted from the firm, and on this site.

Blank means blank

A dash on this site means we have not checked it — never that a firm scored zero. Most firms here have large gaps, and the score excludes what it does not know rather than punishing a firm for our own missing homework. It also refuses to headline a score built on one or two signals, because that is a guess with a number attached.

The consequence is a site that looks less complete than its competitors. That is the trade-off, and we would rather have it that way round.

How we are paid

Referral commission. If you use a discount code here and buy a challenge, the firm pays us a share. That is the whole business model, and it creates an obvious conflict, so:

  • Nobody can buy a position in the ranking, and nobody has.
  • Where the order is set by hand rather than by score, the reason is recorded and shown — see how we rank.
  • Firms that pay us still carry their hidden rules. Blue Guardian pays us and has nine of them, including one that can halve your profit split for good.

When we are wrong

Rules change, and we will sometimes be out of date or simply mistaken. Every figure carries the date it was checked so you can judge how much to trust it, changes are logged on what changed, and corrections are welcome at hello@propfirmrefer.com.

If a firm has treated you in a way its own terms did not allow, tell us and send the evidence.

Not advice

Nothing here is financial advice, and a good score is not a recommendation to trade. Prop firm challenges are paid products with a high failure rate by design. See the risk notice and the terms.
