Privacy

The short version: we collect as little as we can get away with, we do not sell it, and you can have it deleted by asking.
What we store

Passwords are stored only as a bcrypt hash. We cannot read your password and neither can anyone who obtains the database.
What we do not do
- We do not sell or rent your data to anyone.
- We do not pass your email to the prop firms you click through to.
- We do not need your name, address, phone number, or any trading account credentials — never give those to a comparison site, including this one.
What is stored in your browser
Some things stay on your device and never reach us. Your Rule Check answers — how you trade, your platform, your country — are kept in your browser’s local storage so the page remembers them. They are not uploaded. The same is true of whether you have dismissed the announcement bar or the email pop-up.
We set a cookie when you sign in, to keep you signed in. It is HTTP-only, so scripts on the page cannot read it.
Third parties
When you click through to a prop firm, you are on their site under their privacy policy, not ours. Some of those links carry an affiliate identifier so the firm knows the referral came from us — see terms for how that works.
Pages that show live data (the news feed, the economic calendar, exchange rates) fetch it server-side from the source. Your browser does not contact those providers, so they do not see you.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email privacy@propfirmrefer.com and we will act within 30 days. Deleting your account removes your email, points and submissions; anonymous aggregate counts may remain.
Every marketing email has a one-click unsubscribe, and unsubscribing does not affect your account.
