Report a firm

If a firm refused a payout, breached you on a rule that was not published, or closed an account without explaining why, tell us. Enough reports about the same term and it becomes a hidden rule on that firm’s page, where the next trader sees it before they pay.

What makes a report usable

We publish what we can verify, so a report we can check is worth far more than a strong opinion we cannot. The things that matter most:

  • The firm’s own words. A screenshot of the email or dashboard message where they told you what rule you broke.
  • The rule as it was written. If it was on their site when you signed up, that is the whole story — especially if it has since changed.
  • Dates. When you bought, when you passed, when they refused.
  • Blank out anything personal. We do not need your name, account number, address or payment details, and we would rather not receive them.

Email us your report

That opens your email app with the questions above already in it. If it does not, write to hello@propfirmrefer.com directly and attach what you have.

What happens next

We read every report, and we check it against the firm’s own pages before writing anything. That means we may not publish quickly, and sometimes we will not publish at all — if a firm’s terms genuinely allowed what they did, saying otherwise would be as misleading as the thing you are reporting.

What we will not do is take a firm’s side because they pay us a referral commission. Where we earn one, it is disclosed on the page, and it has never yet stopped us recording a rule that costs traders money. Blue Guardian pays us and carries nine hidden rules.

If you want it kept private

Say so in the email. We can record a rule without publishing that any particular person reported it, and we will never publish your name or account details either way. See the privacy notice for what we keep and for how long.
