Rule Check answers

What Rule Check reads when it calls this firm compatible or a conflict. Open one to read the rule in the firm’s own words.

Can you trade the news?Restricted

No restriction during the evaluation. Funded traders must be flat from 1 minute before to 1 minute after the major economic releases listed for each product (Forex Factory calendar). Trades lasting under 10 seconds around any news event are prohibited.

“For major economic releases, Funded Traders must be flat one minute before, during, and one minute after a corresponding major economic release listed below.”
Can you copy trades?Restricted

Funded accounts: copying is allowed only across funded accounts in your own name (maximum three funded accounts, one for Express). Copying between accounts of different people, group trading and hedging across funded accounts are prohibited.

“However, copy-trading is permissible when conducted across multiple funded accounts under the Trader's own name and solely for the purposes of risk management and strategy diversification.”
Can you hold positions overnight?No

Evaluation and funded: all positions must be closed by 3:15 PM CT or the product's market close, whichever comes first, and no positions may be opened between 3:15 and 5 PM CT. You may trade the session that opens at 5 PM CT but not hold through the daily close.

“All positions MUST be closed by 3:15 PM CT. Trading day starts at 5:00 PM CT and ends at 3:15 PM CT (not including holidays and weekends).”
Can you hold over the weekend? No
“NB: No trading is allowed after 3:15 PM CT on Fridays until Sundays at 5 PM CT when the market reopens.”
Is there a consistency rule?Yes

Evaluation only: your next three best days must add up to at least 80% of your best day's profit (it can also be met with two days). The FAQ says it does not apply to funded accounts.

“Traders must have three (3) other best trading days' net profits total summed up to equal 80% or more of the largest day's net profit.”
Minimum trading days10 days

Standard Evaluation. Express Funding, which is only for traders whose funded account was terminated in the past 30 days, requires 5.

“You must trade a minimum of 10 trading days to be eligible for placement with our funding partners. Holidays and Weekends are not included.”
How often you can be paidOn demand

Funded: request by email any weekday once profit is above the withdrawal threshold, minimum $1,000 trader share. Crypto withdrawals are limited to one request per calendar week and $3,000 each.

“To request a profit withdrawal, all you have to do is send an email to your funding provider with the amount you wish to withdraw. It will be processed on the same day as long as the withdrawal threshold has been met.”

6 hidden rules you should know before you buy

Terms that can cost you an account or a payout after you have already paid. Hidden means easy to miss, not concealed. The firm publishes every one of these, usually in its terms or FAQ rather than on its pricing page. Tap a rule to read it, with the page we read it on and the date.

Payout restrictions2

  1. 01Only profit above a fixed threshold can be withdrawnBlocks the payout

Each account size has a profit buffer you cannot withdraw, for example $3,500 on a $100,000 account. The trader share of each withdrawal must also be at least $1,000.

    Why it matters
Break it and the payout is refused or pushed back.

  2. 02Crypto payouts capped at one a week and $3,000Blocks the payout

Scalping and hold time1

  1. 03Stay above starting balance at every 15 day check while fundedJudgement call

For the first 90 days funded your net PnL must be above the starting balance at the end of every 15 calendar days. Missing a checkpoint brings discretionary warnings and breaking funded rules risks termination.

    Why it matters
There is no fixed line. Someone at the firm decides whether you broke it.
