What it actually costs to trade
The spread is the fee you pay on every single trade, and it is the one cost no firm puts on its pricing page. This is what each firm quotes, with a normal retail broker at the bottom of the table, so you can see what the markup actually is.

- Typical
- The median of hourly readings over the last 7 days, so one news spike or a thin hour does not set the number.
- Commission
- Charged per standard lot on top of the spread, as the firm publishes it. Last read 10 Sept.
